Tungsten alloy or metal (W alloy) scraps is high-temperature scrap metal and high-temperature alloy scrap respectively. The tungsten scrap comes in a myriad of grades and varieties; however, all are used for recycling purposes. Tungsten has the highest melting point of all metals and is therefore also suitable for very high-temperature applications. It is also characterized by a uniquely low coefficient of thermal expansion and a very high level of dimensional stability.
