Magentic scrap 444

Magnetic scrap 444 buy online, low nitrogen (N), dual-stabilized ferritic stainless steel that provides pitting and crevice corrosion resistance superior to most ferritic stainless steels and some austenitic stainless steels. Material SMO 254. CS444 is a low carbon, dual stabilized, molybdenum-containing ferritic stainless steel with good ductility, toughness, and resistance to sensitization, even in the welds. The melting point of ferrochrome the steel has good pitting resistance and crevice corrosion resistance, similar to CS316 and good general corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, similar to 316 in most environments. Being ferritic stainless steel, CS444 is not susceptible to Stress Corrosion Cracking.SS 444 chemical composition provides it with excellent corrosion resistance in moderately severe environments of many types that include chlorides and organic acids found in foods and beverages. SS 444 material properties of material smo 254 also provide satisfactory resistance to dilute sulfuric acid solutions and to highly concentrated sodium hydroxide. Type 444 is a low carbon, low nitrogen, ferritic stainless steel that provides pitting and crevice corrosion resistance superior to most ferritic stainless steels. Applications requiring superior corrosion resistance and resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking are ideal for this alloy.

Characteristics

> Excellent resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion cracking

> Immune to Chloride ion stress corrosion

> Maintains high strength at elevated temperatures

> Resistant to seawater, in both flowing and stagnant condition

>Heat resistant

Stainless steels are high-alloy steels that have excellent corrosion resistance in comparison with other steels as they contain more chromium. We provide plate cutting and pipe cutting as per requirements.

Quality material for the best manufacturing

Based on their crystalline structure, stainless steels are divided into three groups, namely, martensitic, austenitic and ferritic steels. A combination of martensitic and ferritic steels forms a fourth group known as precipitation-hardened steels.
